The factory fuel filter housing on the 6.7L PowerStroke is a well-known failure point. Over time, the OEM plastic housing can crack, warp, or develop leaks due to constant heat cycles, engine vibration, and routine maintenance. When it fails, it can allow diesel fuel to leak—or even spray—into the engine bay.

The Madlandz Performance Fuel Filter Conversion Kit is engineered to permanently replace the factory housing with a precision CNC-machined billet aluminum assembly built for maximum durability, improved sealing, and long-term reliability.

This latest-generation housing incorporates several key design enhancements to address common failure points. Unnecessary side ports found on competing designs have been eliminated, reducing the number of potential leak paths. 

For improved sealing performance, the housing features a grooved O-ring retention system that helps properly position the seal during installation while reducing the likelihood of seepage or leaks. Because this kit is designed to eliminate factory fuel leaks, every sealing surface was engineered with long-term reliability in mind.

The housing is secured using a Buna O-ring locking system that creates a tight, dependable seal within the factory filter cup. This design eliminates the bulky retention sleeves commonly used on competing kits, resulting in a cleaner installation, easier servicing, and more consistent sealing performance over time.

Rather than relying on multiple adapters and stacked fittings to cover every model year, this kit was purpose-built for both factory fuel system configurations:

• 2011-2016 Models: Uses the factory 2-port configuration and includes a threaded plug.
• 2017-2026 Models: Utilizes the integrated 3-port housing for a true factory-style fit.

That's why every kit includes a USA made Baldwin BF46228 fuel filter with 4-micron absolute filtration, providing filtration performance that matches OEM specifications while maintaining the proper fuel flow required by the high-pressure common rail fuel system.

Many competing conversion kits include filters rated at 4 nominal / 15 absolute microns or larger, allowing substantially more contaminants to pass through the fuel system. With today's high-pressure fuel systems operating at extremely tight tolerances, superior filtration plays a critical role in protecting expensive fuel system components.
